Unbounded

I am Filipino-Chinese, 75% Chinese and 25% Filipino blood.
My white complexion and mixed looks have made strangers say that I am Chinese.
However, I have learned to appreciate my Filipino roots more, since I have lived abroad for 2 years.
Perhaps I can say that I am a global citizen. Appreciative of cultures, accepting of people's ideas
and respecting of their beliefs. Through this process-- long, hard, funny, friendly and scary, I have come to
know myself. Surely, I am still uncovering my life and living each day. Yet, so far the most important thing
for me, is that I have figured out who I really am-- what makes me sad, angry, frustrated, as well as what makes me happy-- who to love, what to look for.
Thus, this has really helped me in my life- my daily activities,
my relationships, but most important of all, being true to myself.
Happiness and passion are the essential traits that keep me alive each day.
They give me the purpose on why I am here. In spite of the difficulties that I encounter.
Hence, I tell people I meet and love, not to discriminate, hate because there is no such thing
as race, religion, orientation, social status, education. Only love should emanate from one human
being to another. Reason why I no longer adhere to religion-- Christian, Catholic, Buddhism, I follow New Age, and make my own path instead. Follow my gut-- intuition, at times I am illogical and/or irrational-- either way, because I know that my soul needs to learn from it.
