Down time is the hardest

For most, blogging is a way of being able to connect through cyberspace. For me, blogging is a way of letting my thoughts and feelings out and if I can remain anonymous at that. Now that I have the time, that is. Officially unemployed for the time being (my contract just finished last Mar. 30th), downtime seems to be the hardest- feeling restless, countless phone inquiries and e-mails, done some interviews, and being stuck at home seems to be really hard. Especially when you've been in the ad agency action for the last 6 months.

Being a spiritual person, I would like to share with you some online articles I have read:

True enough, even souls do need a break! A month ago, I felt really burned out from my job, spinning out without any direction at all without any career progression. I asked the universe to 'gimme a break' and was granted- my contract was not renewed and I was elated since I can find a better job. Hence, I am now on a break, but seems to be asking for the opposite!

Realise patience is the key, we work on our subsconcious which manifests onto the conscious- we are in our current situation because we need to learn something here. What about strengthening our spiritual life during our down time? What do we need to work on? I believe it is time to re-charge our energies to strengthen our faith- renew our creative energies for the next step.

I don't like being stuck at home with my mom. Yet I know that I need to learn something from her without blowing my top- I already did 2x in the 6 days that I have been staying in the house.

Photo shows that we have the goal, which is on the other side- so far away. Preparing yourself for the next step is the key and it takes time. Filter what you hear from others, because you are the only one who knows what is truly right for you.
