What's yo flava?
Not the Craig David song. However, I'll be dwelling on the question: What's your type? Since returning home last May 2010, I haven't been 'going out', I mean in a bar or club. Mostly I'm at work, and last Dec 2010, I've decided to join Fitness First to return to my BMI -> 68kg at the end of the year. Hence, I've been busy with work and gym.
So what's my type? Athletic/slim built, telling (colored) eyes, great smile, at least 63 in. tall, blond/brunette, smart and interesting. Always found Caucasians/Latina really appealing and interesting 'coz I love culture and I love learning from them- their mindset, ways, what makes them tick, really? Not that I dislike Asians, but I would love to have someone who has a different opinion of things and would challenge me to see things from a different angle.
When I was in college, I struggled with my feelings and I couldn't identify what was going on, until I left for the UK in 2007. Realised that I fell in love with my best friend, wicked mix of: Spanish/American/Mexican/Chinese blood. In short, a Caucasian. I had to accept that it was a 'rite of passage', true. Can I say, transition love? Yes.
Have you ever experienced that you thought what you felt was wrong, until that person came along when you least expected it and everything felt right. It was like you felt free and vindicated from what everyone else thought. Been out to a few friends and strangers elsewhere because they don't like to pry on my personal life- and I don't really like discussing it, unless I feel the need to. Let's keep some things private, as respect for ourselves and for those we love, like.
However, when you are thousands of miles away from the US and Europe, you can only dream of what you like. Can't really think of anyone at the mo', I hope this photo will do.
