After deciding to have a 'real' haircut, I mean, not trim or the usual style that I go for-- short or long layered. I decided to give Bang's Tony and Jackey @ Tomas Morato a try. Besides, I've been hearing about this salon for quite a few years now, most of my friends would say, 'if you really want a makeover with excellent customer service that won't break the bank, this is the place to be'! Also, I frequently pass by the area, and the salon is still standing strong after a few years. Really, that says a lot!
Prior to the haircut, I decided to surf online and find more information about the salon.

The Salon is wholly-owned by Bang, a Korean. The stylists are all Koreans with years of experience, while the staff is all-Filipina. My stylist was Ms. Anna, who has 16 years of professional experience under her belt. One of my queries on the phone was, if the Koreans can speak and understand English because I don't want to be pouting after my haircut.
Thank goodness they do! I just gave Ms. Anna some photos of Shirota Yuu textured haircut and Kim Hyun Joong's. Then spoke with her on how it will look on me.
According to Ms. Anna, Shirota's hair is shorter, while Kim Hyun Joong's is long at the back. Although I'd really opt for the latter, I decided to really test myself and Ms. Anna if she can pull off Shirota's hairstyle on me. Besides, for a girl to cut her locks or to style it differently means she has decided to undo with the old. I believe that too!
Perhaps the secret of this salon is that they wash your hair twice, before and after the cut. Then blowdry.
Once Ms. Anna was doing my hair, you can sense the concentration and her experience with the razor, scissors and the blower. No talking, all work!
I think all it took was about 30-40 mins. and I was done. At first, I felt my hair was too short, but after Ms. Anna styled it with Essence Oil, Wax and blow dried my hair, I really thought that my money was worth it!
P500 for shampoo, haircut and blowdry! Feeling happy about my haircut and I gave the lady staff P50 for the shampoo and blow-dry. While P100 for Ms. Anna. They topped it off with a bow and thank you for giving them gratuity!
